Chelsea Kaplan’s Musings About Life... After Birth
Posted by Chelsea on April 23, 2008
The BPA issue I previously wrote about continues to be a major concern for parents everywhere. I still recommend reading up on it, y’all…what’s more important than the health of your kids?
Momtourage member Amy again delivered, sending me these sources for info on products containing BPA:
This is a link that has a list of which products have BPA and which products are BPA-free…if you click on the name brand you can find out which bottles/sippy cups/etc are safe or not:

And for those that have toddlers, here’s a link to a list of sippy cups that are bpa-free:

My Current Obsessions
The Kiefer Cottage
Meet the Kiefers: a quirky, lovable family of five on a quest to transform their 1940s Kansas City bungalow into the house of their dreams. The budget is small, the dreams are big, the creativity is inspiring. Check them out - you can thank us later. Happy reading, everybody!
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® All Purpose Cleaner
I don't understand gals who claim to loooove cleaning. That said, I do get a certain joy from using Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day® All Purpose Cleaner to care for my home. You can't lose with this stuff...it is hard-working & earth-friendly, and will leave your abode smelling like a day spa instead of a chemical spill. Try Lemon Verbena in the kitchen and Basil in the bathroom. At only $7.99 a bottle, you can afford to pick up both!
True Blood
Um, does this even need a caption? Doubtful, but let me just say that this is the hottest hour on television. Vampires are seriously sexy (especially Eric), and on this show you get to see a lot of them--if you get what I mean. Put the kids to bed and flip the channel to HBO on Sundays at 9 p.m. to taste the fun that is True Blood.
Valentino Bow Thong Sandals
So comfy and feminine, I know I'd wear them all summer. But dang, that much money for jellies? Possibly worth the splurge. $275, nordstrom.com
New Balance Kids’ Sneakers in wide sizes
My boys have wide feet, which means finding cute shoes for them is tough. These, however, rock. Prices vary, visit nbwebexpress.com to purchase.
Zoya “Laurie” Nail Polish
This sheer pink polish is, without question, the PERFECT nude pink. Plus, the polish is free of formaldehyde, toluene, camphor and dibutyl phthalate (read: yucky crap that isn't really safe for prego gals). $6, enailsupply.com.

I have to get all new sippy cups. This stuff is SCARY!
Can you please define why that stuff is scary!!
No idea that I will find that. Cool!!
As of May 27, 2009, The Protomen official website was updated.[7] The new front page is a simply animated flash image lorazepam depicting an alley that shows several television screens that link to their news blog, links to their forum, web store, myspace and twitter accounts, and a garage door with the words “L.I.G.H.T. Brigade” written on it which links to their street team blog. Above the garage door is a clock that is counting down to at approximately 4 AM EST on September 8, 2009. The countdown has been confirmed in a news post on their site on June 26, 2009, to be the release date of their second album[8]. Also, still images of people walking through or standing in the alley are alternated, as well as several shots of cars driving though. There is an unknown song playing in the background that resembles music from classic sci fi movies such as Blade Runner or Terminator. On August 13, the comic site Nuklear Power linked to a hidden page on Protomen.com, which shows an animated version of their new logo for Act buy diazepam and plays a full version of one of the album’s tracks
